A month of using the asus zenfone 3 zoom has really been an experience. The battery is superb and i can go on through a day on hotspot for 2 devices for at least 16 hours.

A mothers day photo of my wife and daughter using auto mode with some tweaks using snapseed app to edit and remove some shadows.

What is noticeable with the actual shot you will do less fixing with it.

The solo photo of Kendall Amala Villanueva out of the shot didn't need any editing.

Bokeh the blur effect has been one of the essential features of smart phone photography this days. Although achieving bokeh on phones is not as great as using an actual SLR its digital bokeh seems to be impressive on the following phones the Galaxy S7 - iphone 7+ - Huawei P9 and P10 and zenfone 3 zoom however ive noticed that it cannot acquire thru detail as using an SLR.

Here is a shot from Galaxy S7 using selective focus mode.

You can also try to get a raw bokeh using the manual function present on android devices.

The second photo is using manual focus to achieve bokeh as you can see it has finer details but you have to draw the subject closer to get a blurred background.
