The Met Gala, known as a significant event in the fashion industry, recently honored the late designer Karl Lagerfeld in an exhibition titled "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty." The exhibition showcased approximately 150 outfits from his successful career, along with their corresponding original sketches. Lagerfeld's artistic talent was apparent as he claimed that he had the ability to draw before speaking, and his sketches held the key to his imaginative ideas.

Rihanna arrived at the annual celebration wearing a dramatic white Valentino gown festooned with giant white sculptural flowers that swathed her torso, arms, and head. The Shine Bright Like a Diamond star embodied her song as she wore nearly $24 million worth of Cartier jewels as a part of her outfit.

A$AP wore a Gucci ensemble including a plaid kilt and a stack of belts around his waist.

Brian Tyree Henry
Actor Brian Tyree Henry appeared in a regal fashion with an ensemble from Karl Lagerfeld's eponymous label. With a white stand-collar shirt underneath an array of necklaces and a combo of black jacket and trousers, what ties the look is Henry's textured floor-length cape. Adding to the layered look is the tiered sleeve, peeking from beneath the cape.
Michaela Coel
The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star and co-chair for this year's gala walked the carpeted steps in a gilded, semi-sheer gown by Schiaparelli. The long-sleeved, curve-hugging gown included 130,000 crystals embroidered onto a dark brown silhouette, including star-shaped adornments along the chest and abs, as well as chain detailing, pearls, and gold leaves wrapped around the arms.
Dua Lipa’s tweed bridal gown and ‘Ocean’s Eight esque necklace. The tweed, ball gown-shaped dress included a structured corseted midsection with black-and-white striped piping, a voluminous skirt, and a fringed hemline. The singer paired her look with a whopping 200+ carat Tiffany diamond necklace with a massive square pendant, matching rings, and metallic pointy-toed heels. Dua Lipa Drips in Over $10 Million Worth of Diamonds at the 2023 Met Gala.

The Grammy-winning singer is known for her cutting-edge makeup looks, so naturally she had to one-up herself for her first Met appearance. Doja Cat stepped out on the carpet with a prosthetic cat face, rounding out the feline fashion moment with a glittering and feathered silver gown by Oscar de la Renta topped with a cat-ear hood.
